Chimpanzees and primates

Uganda is a primate haven. The country's various protected areas are host to over ten primate species, including the endangered chimpanzee. The prime chimpanzee tracking areas are the Kibaale Forest, which alone hosts 8 species of primate, The Semiliki Valley Wildlife Reserve, and the Chambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Our tours cover all these areas, and we also offer trips to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a pioneering 100-acre island refuge on Lake Victoria.
